Have you tried this 😍

If you've ever done a screenshare with me, you'll know I'm a bit of a tab hoarder...

And I won't even mention how many windows I usually have open! Let's say if my laptop had a voice, it would be screaming 😱

All those tabs, windows, and distractions are no good for my brain, so I've been looking for a solution for ages, but nothing I've ever used has made a difference.

Until now.

Over the past few weeks, I've done two things that have made a big difference.

Firstly, I tried a new browser and LOVE IT...

It's called Arc, and if you're someone who has a million tabs/windows open right now, you'll probably love it too!

Disclaimer: Laura D tried it but didn't get on with it, so it's not for everyone.

Here's why I love it:

  • I have folders for different focuses and can hide away tabs I'm not using.
  • The sidebar suits my brain better than tabs across the top, and you can easily hide it away for a full-screen experience.
  • You can create different workspaces with different folders and tabs - great for focusing on client work.
  • Chrome extensions still work.
  • I haven't run into a tool that doesn't work on it yet (unlike Safari!)
  • It's free
  • You can change the colours and make it all pretty (still on my to-do list)

I had to share because we don't gatekeep tips like this, and if your brain is like mine, it might help you too.

I'll share the second change in tomorrow's email, so keep an eye out for it!

When I was 10 years old, I wrote to my local newspaper. They had this deal where they'd give out free ice cream if you wrote in for your birthday. Only it wasn't MY birthday - it was my Dad's, and I thought he'd like a free ice cream. I told them he would be 36, and his favourite ice cream was mint chocolate chip (that's my favourite too). They must have been stuck for stories as the front page headline that week read, "COLIN MOORE IS 36" 😱 That week, our phone didn't stop ringing with people...

If showing up online feels a bit heavier than it used to, there’s a good reason for that. It’s not that you’ve lost confidence. And it’s definitely not that you’re suddenly bad at marketing. It's that AI has changed everything. We're hearing it over and over. And it hasn't just changed how content is created (although that's a biggie) It’s reduced people's trust levels... massively. Between deepfakes, confident opinions with zero experience behind them, and stats that sound impressive but are...

Does this sound familiar? You spend ages putting a price together for a client who promises you content only for it to never arrive So you: grab some stock images repurpose their old content spend far too long in Canva or ask chat GPT to come up with something All while thinking, “I really wish I’d charged more for this.” It’s THE most frustrating thing ever. But here’s the bit most people miss… The longer you keep creating content without the assets they agreed to provide, the less incentive...
