I still remember the exact moment this strategy blew my tiny mind. I’d been running a business for over a decade, but somehow this had never crossed my radar. I was listening to a podcast, sitting in traffic and… bam... I've never forgotten it. The strategy itself was painfully simple: Offer someone something else the moment they’ve bought something from you. That’s it. The podcast used an example of a venue offering a drinks package immediately after someone bought tickets. Hearing how much extra money that generated for this venue was one of those moments where you go, “Wait, why am I not doing this?!” My brain went straight into ideas mode. At the time, I was selling power hours, a little course, and we had just launched The Toolkit. Within minutes, I’d scribbled down ideas like: 💡 More power hours And the first two went down a storm (made me mad I'd not thought of it before) Since then, we’ve used this strategy so many times (as freelancers and in this business), and it’s brought in thousands. Not from being pushy, just from making it easy for people to say yes to something that genuinely helps them. But there's a catch (when isn't there 🙄) Thinking of the offer is the easy part. With Hubsy, adding an upsell is literally as simple as popping a special button on your thank-you page. If someone taps it, they’re instantly charged using the same card they just checked out with; they don't even have to fill in their card details again. And funnily enough… the easier something is, the more people tend to buy it. Who knew 🤣 We’re opening a limited number of early-adopter spaces in Hubsy this week, but only people on the waiting list get the link. ~ The two Lauras P.S.
