The emails have:

  • Kept her top of mind, so we often tag her when people are looking for a designer

Yes, her messages are sales emails, but not in a spammy, salesy way. They're just a human-to-human check-in.

You should 100% be doing this with your past clients (if you'd work with them again)

This is how you could structure the message:

  • Greeting
  • Connection point - this is where you show an interest in something they're doing (be a human)
  • Ask if theres anything they need your help with
  • Remind them of some options that might suit (a power hour, your management services etc)

This is NOT an email to your whole list. It's a 1:1 DM, email, voice message etc.

And for the love of god, do NOT ask AI to write this email.

Just be a normal human and have a conversation!
